BIOGRAPHY

Evan has traveled many miles from his distant home state of Massachusetts via Prius to dip his toes in the Pacific. He is a writer of essays and short stories, a son of dancers, a stand-up bassist, a certified barista, and a lover of the beautiful game (fútbol).

After graduating from Brown University with a B.A. in Nonfiction writing, Evan spent two years teaching writing and coaching in Maine and two years in Boston, Massachusetts, while leading summer language, service, and journalism trips to Costa Rica, Australia, New Zealand, Ecuador, the Galapagos, and Mexico. He is ecstatic to begin a new adventure with the 11th-grade students of High Tech High Media Arts and welcomes any and all questions.
